Mexican Festival in Wickenburg


Spend the day at the 21st annual Fiesta de Septiembre Saturday (Sept. 5). Stroll the arts and crafts bazaar, enjoy Mexican food and margaritas (for a fee) and enjoy performances by a ballet folklorico group while being entertained by mariachi groups and other entertainers. 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Wickenburg Community Center, 160 N. Museum's On Us!

The Phoenix Zoo is now a proud partner of Museums on Us ® from Bank of America.

On the first full weekend of every month, when a Bank of America customer shows their Bank of America ATM, credit or check card and a photo ID at the Zoo's Admission booth they will receive one free general admission ticket. Additionally, Bank of America employees will receive one free general admission ticket by showing a valid employee and photo ID.

Separate ticketed exhibits, rides and day and evening events are not included.

Free percussion performance at ASU

Hear Arizona State University faculty member Simone Mancuso play more than 50 conventional and non-conventional percussion instruments, including metal, wood and mallet instruments, drums, bells and amplified plants. $4-$8. 7:30-9 p.m. Sept. 5. Katzin Concert Hall, ASU, Mill Avenue and Gammage Parkway, Tempe.
